HOTEL ACCOMMODATION

Several double/queen bed rooms have been reserved at the Hampton Inn, Parsippany, New Jersey, 07054. Each room has two comfortable Queen-sized beds. Rates: $72.00 in US funds. Each conference participant is advised to reserve his/her room with the Hampton Inn at Parsippany. Dial (973) 263-0095 and ask for Ms. Nilgun Mansuri. CONFERENCE CENTER

While delegates will lodge at the Hampton Inn in Parsippany, the conference proceedings will take place at the Rockaway River Country Club, Denville, New Jersey, about 1.5 miles from the Hampton Inn.
 

DIRECTIONS TO PARSIPPANY,  NJ:

By Road:

From Eastbound Route 1-80: Take 1-80 East to Exit 38 Denville/46 East. Go 3 miles on route 46 East. Hotel is on right hand side.

From Westbound Route 1-80: Take 1-80 West to Exit 42 (Route 202 Morris Plains/Route 46 Parsippany). Bear right at sign for Parsippany Exit 42B (Cherry Hill Road). Proceed 0.5 miles on cherry Hill Road. At street sign for Old Cherry Hill road, turn left. Hampton Inn parking lot is located over to your right.

By Air:

Delegates travelling by air are advised to land at Newark International Airport. Once out of the airport, take the airport shuttle bus, or a cab via Route 1-78 West to Route 24 Westbound to Route 1-287 North. Take 1-287 North to Exit 41B (Route 1-80 Westbound). Proceed as from Westbound Route 1-80.

By Train:

The nearest train station to Parsippany is Morris Plains.
 

REGISTRATION

Registration fees (in US funds) are: -

$50:00 (family rate: a couple including two children under 18) and

$10:00 (students aged 18 and above)

Pre-Conference Registration:

Delegates can register before the conference by sending their respective registration fees and luncheon fee to The Treasurer, Urhobo Historical Society, P. O. Box 1454, Amherst, New York 14228, USA. Please make your check or money order payable to Urhobo Historical Society and mail it to the Treasurer before October 05, 2001.

Registration at Conference Venue:

Delegates can register at the conference venue on November 02, 2001, between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. A Registration Desk will be maintained throughout the Conference.
 

COCKTAIL

A Conference Cocktail is scheduled for November 02, 2001, at 8:00 p.m. Participation at this function will be open only to those registered for the Conference.

LUNCHEON

A Conference Luncheon is planned for November 03, 2001, at 12:30 p.m. Registered delegates wishing to participate at the luncheon will be required to make an advanced payment of $25:00 for the luncheon. This is the estimated cost of meals per person.
