Editorial Note

The Western Niger Delta has five ethnic groups: Ijaw, Isoko, Itsekiri, Ukwuani, and Urhobo. This map does not display Isoko, which lies to the southeast of Urhobo and northeast of Ijaw. It also does not display Ukwuani, which lies to the north and northeast of Urhobo.
