A CHRISTMAS CARD

FOR

WARRI

Daniel Obiomah is a many-sided man. A scholar of immense personal experience spanning a good chunk of the British colonial era unto our own times, he has devoted much of his considerable intellectual energy to analyzing the problems of his native City of Warri. This unique 1995 Christmas Card reveals not only the historian in him; it shows how poetic Daniel Obiomah could be moved in his passion for securing justice and peace for his people. The Card is addressed to the religious chieftains of various denominations in Warri City. In his own inimitable way, Daniel Obiomah calls on religious leaders to exercise compassion and a sense of justice in the affairs of his beloved Warri City.
