Brother Palmer Asakitikpi


With spiritual sorrow but with total submission to the will of God, we announce the death of Brother Palmer Asakitikpi of God�s Kingdom Society, Sapele Branch, which sad event occurred on Saturday August 11 2001.He was aged 65.

An Urhobo by tribe, late Brother Asakitikpi hailed from Aragba in Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State.  He joined the GKS at Sapele in 1956 and remained active, zealous and steadfast in the faith until he breathed his last.  A Recognised Member, late Brother Palmer Asakitikpi will be remembered for his humility, faith, liberality, hospitality and his conspicuous presence at major assemblies of the Church where for over two decades he gave photographic coverage.  Because of his diligence and skill as a professional photographer, he was popular among many state Governors and top government functionaries .  He is survived by four wives:

 Sister Irene Asakitikpi
 Sister Queen Asakitikpi
 Sister Mercy Asakitikpi
 Sister Lily Asakitikpi

 36 children, 39 grand children and several other relations.  Meanwhile, burial is fixed for Saturday 29th of September 2001 at Aragba his home town.  Members  are requested to  turn up in full in obedience to the Lord�s Organisation Instructions to accord the late beloved Brother Palmer Asakitikpi a befitting and glorious Christian burial.

We pray God to comfort  the Asakitikpi family.  We  shall see the late brother again on the  day  of  resurrection  by  God�s  grace.  Hosea 13:14; John 5:28,29;  1 Thessalonians 4: 13,14,18.
