"And
God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no
more
death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more
pain: for
the former things are passed away."
(Revelation 21:4, KJV)
A
Glimpse
of
Mowoe
By
Ochuko Tonukari
Standing
in
shock
and
awe,
we wipe our tears
as the homegoing news of our beloved
Mowoe we hear
how our hearts ache as we wonder why
its too soon, Lord. He is too good to die
There are so many things for him to do
Then, so tenderly, we hear the Lord speak
Such comforting words, so wonderfully sweet
In the Lambs Book of Life, Mowoes name
is found
Its time for him to wear his robe and crown
His race is over, his work for Urhobo is done
Now, his eternal life in heaven has begun
Then, in my mind, I see a beautiful sight
A host of saints and angels in spotless white
Spreading out a banner as they wait
For Mowoe to cross the threshold of heavens gate
Then, I cant help but shout as the next scene unfolds
Mowoe entered heavens gates, as many holy eyes watched on
The saints and angels shout praises and glory
As they welcomed Mowoe into the Land of Story
Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord, all ye saints
Welcome home: Mukoro Mowoe, Welcome, welcome, welcome home!!!
Now
Mowoe
is
in
heaven
and that's alright,
At least now he doesn't have to worry
He is with the Lord way up above,
Surrounded by His special love.
I know someday that I will stand,
With him and I, hand in hand
Indeed,
Mowoe
has
entered
our eternal home above.
The heavenly gate has opened wide
to welcome him
We
cannot
help
the
tears
that fall-
our hearts need time to grieve
when earthly life has ended
and a loved one has to leave,
Yet even in the saddest time,
we know our Mowoe lives,
and we can trust completely
in the promise that he gives.
That in a glad reunion with the Lord,
our beloved Mowoe wait
to welcome us in joy
with no more tears
beyond the gate!
