There is a fourth meaning to Okoro in Urhobo apart from the three given by Agblaghala [Dr. Smith Omonuwa]. The meaning derives from the collapse of three words, 'oka re ro' [okoro] meaning 'sun bird'. Many Urhobo names derive from a contraction of several words, sometimes even sentences.

It is quite okay to live in past glories, but it should not be at the expense of the integrity of others.
