Osiba-gba-niku the two piece wrapper
That clothes the Urhobo woman
It goes round her waist
And downwards her legs
Made of velvet
Of cotton or nylon
A careful cortue
Passed down the ages
A sign of maturity
A test of tradition
Worn with matching blouses
Headties that stand firm
Necklaces and earrings
Braclets and bangles
A difference with coral beads
An eyeful at marriages
An Urhobo identity
And pride to its people
