urhobo historical society,
Here's a poem and message from gibson:
"This poem titled democracy is a contribution from me to UHS.
I am Gibson Atuyota Ikanone, an Urhobo residing in warri."

Democracy

Ancient aristocrats say its the goverment of
fools, for fools, and by fools
'cos majority of the people are fools

So natural rights ought to have been ideal
but the foolish tool remain
the arbiter of imbroglio betwixt man and man

Why so much poverty in the face of majority-
makes-right, 'en in the midst of plentiful?
ay, and so much bondage in freedom's world?

Positive application of Franz Josef Goebels
principles, yea! again and again resounding
of the truth
deepdown custodians of popular-opinion's ears
