urhobo historical society,
Here's a poem and message from gibson:
"This poem titled globalisation is a contribution from me to UHS.
I am Gibson Atuyota Ikanone, an Urhobo residing in warri."

Globalisation

Take heart oh ye weak folks!
'cos the euphemism for survival of the fittest has come to stay
the symbol of inequity is adorned with fine pearls

Jungle justice is entrenched in broad daylight!
no room for the feeble says neocolonialists
offspring of Bartholomew de las Casas now hold sway

Washington Consensus is a continuation of Berlin Conference!
technical cooperation, exchange of specialised information among G-8,
are aside globalisation!

Is there affirmative action in the scheme of globalisation?
is the plight of have-nots taken into cognizance in liberalisation?
can developing nations excel in this lopsided affair?
