BUSH FALLOW VEGETATION WITH TREES AND GRASSES

Traditional farming in Urhoboland was on the basis of shifting cultivation. A piece of land is left fallow after a year or two of active cultivation. The picture shows such fallow land awaiting a few more years before it will be farmed.
